Jackie Batson, a Greenville native, enjoys the outdoors immensely. She has spent much of her time hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, building, and maintaining the many trails in the Upstate. As a team member, Jackie thoroughly enjoys splitting her time between mountain biking and road cycling, appreciating the skill required on the trail as well as the teamwork involved on the road. She plans to represent the team in mountain bike events, road cycling events, and off-road duathlons.
Jackie teaches seventh grade math at Greenville Middle Academy, where she also sponsors a youth cycling club, the RamSpinners. She loves family rides with her husband, Chip, and two sons, Mason and Miles. Jackie is also a very dedicated Ashtanga yoga practitioner.
